3rd European Summit on Future Internet, Dipoli Espoo
Towards Future Internet International Collaboration
Since its inception the Internet has gradually become a powerful vector for individual empowerment and free expression while being a source and vehicle for change and innovation of the economy. Knowledge, which was previously denied to all but a rare few, is instantly available to the most remote place on Earth. A first truly global infrastructure at the service of all has emerged.
What will the future of Internet look like? How will people, enterprises, organizations, and governments benefit from this development? How can we create new businesses?
To find the answers, we cordially invite you to the 3rd European Summit on the Future Internet to take place in Espoo, Finland between 31st May and 1st June. The Summit will gather approximately 200 leading business developers, academia and research institute representatives as well as high-level policy-makers from Europe and Asia.
During the two days of the Summit, you would have the chance to listen to and participate in discussions about the future of Internet and Internet-based solutions for businesses, customers and societies at large. One of the main highlights of the event is the high-level roundtable on EU-China Future Internet collaboration. Gala Dinner in the best location on an island just in front of the Helsinki city on the sea provides an excellent environment for networking.
The Summit is organized by TIVIT (Finnish Center for Science, Technology and Innovation in ICT), in collaboration with SnT (Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust of the University of Luxembourg). This is the first time the European Summit on the Future Internet is organized in Finland, which was chosen due to its excellent reputation as a land of innovation.
